Botox® and Dysport® are FDA-approved neuromodulator treatments in the form of a protein derived from the Botulinum toxin. Botox® and Dysport® work beneath the surface to decrease the muscle activity that leads to frown lines, crow’s feet, vertical lines, fine lines, and wrinkles. By reducing this muscle activity, the appearance of lines and wrinkles can be drastically reduced. Botox® is one of the most well-known, impactful, and safe treatments in the aesthetic world.

Botox® temporarily relaxes your facial muscles, which in turn reduces the look of moderate-to-severe dynamic facial wrinkles, such as forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet. The cosmetic improvements from Botox® and Dysport® will be first noticeable 3-5 days after treatment, with maximum impact seen in about 14 days. These effects last about 3-6 months, depending on the individual. Often, we see that less Botox® or Dysport® is required over time, meaning your costs may go down when you come in to touch up your results.
